우연히 이 노래를 듣게 되었는데 또 라흐만(A.R.Rahman) 노래!!

 

라흐만 특유의 이 리듬, 라흐만이 직접 부르는 노래, 이 목소리... 라흐만 선생님....ㅠ.ㅠ 어떻게 이렇게 아름다운 곡들을 쓰시는 것인지. 음악 진행이 예술. 그리고 노래도 정말...! 잘 한다..!! 목소리가 어떻게 이럴수가 있지...!

 

특히 라흐만(Rahman)은 이런 patriotic music의 대가인 것 같다. 그가 참여한 많은 영화 음악에서 발견되는 그의 진가. 광복절 행사마다반드시 공식으로 부르게 된 '반데 마타람(Vande Mataram)'도 그의 작품 중 작품이다. (해외 거주 인도인들(NRI)들도 이 노래를 부르며 깊은 애국심을 느끼는 모습이다.)

 

늦은 밤 라흐만앓이.. ㅠ.ㅠ 무슨 '앓이' 이런 표현을 별로 안 좋아하는데 이건 뭐.. 다른 표현이 없다ㅠ.ㅠ 감동의 라흐만 뮤직. 깊은 밤 깊게 들으니 더욱 감동이다. 라흐만 선생님 Mumbai(뭄바이) 가면 뵐 수 있나요💗 그런데 계속 해외 이곳저곳 초청받고 투어, 출장 중이라 인도에 잘 안 계시는 듯 하다😆 역시 그래미상 수상자의 위엄. 그래도 광복절엔 인도 땅에 총리님이랑 같이 계시겠지🙄 내 평생에 과연 이런 훌륭한 분을 한 번 만나뵐 수 있을지 궁금하다. Mumbai로 이사갈까🤔

 

영화 Swades(스와데스, 2004)는 Shah Rukh Khan(SRK=샤룩칸) 주연의 영화로 NASA의 project manager인 주인공 Mohan이 인도로 오게 되면서 그의 인생을 바꿔놓는 경험을 하는 영화이다. 2005년에 각종 Film Award에서 무려 15개 부문의 상을 휩쓴 영화. 샤룩칸이 Best Actor 상을 받았고, Rahman 역시 Best Background Score 상을 받았다.
